FAQS
WHAT IS AND WHY DOES MY DOG NEED A BEHAVIOURAL ASSESSMENT?
A behavioural assessment is to give us some insight on how your dog will react in the daycare environment as a taster session for them. Ensuring that your dog is comfortable in the environment, enjoys the company of the other dogs and will be able to make the most of their experience. We can work with all types of behaviours, as long as your dog is not a danger to itself, other dogs or the staff, most things we can work on or modify for your dogs next visit. Our assessments usually last an hour and once passed you will be given our application pack. Our assessments need to be pre booked and a £10 deposit will be taken to secure your place. Please message us for more information.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF DAYCARE?
Daycare is a great way for your dog to socialise, build confidence, learn manners and encourage good behaviour and of course have fun in a safe, secured and monitored environment. We ensure that our days are structured and stimulating for your Doggo! Promoting good manners and behaviours at all times. We ensure a relaxed atmosphere and discourage unnecessary barking and jumping up. We want to ensure we are promoting a positive example for all Doggos so they can take their good behaviour home and learn have fun, but also to be relaxed and enjoy other dogs company.
ARE YOU INSURED/LICENCED?
Yes! We are insured and fully licenced with High Peak Borough Council prior to the new animal welfare legislation from October 2018 . Our licence number is - HPKAB/DC0002. We obtain a 5 star higher welfare licence which is the highest that we can achieve.
DOES MY DOG HAVE TO BE NEUTERED AND VACCINATED?
Male dogs from 6 months and over must be neutered to abide by our licence terms. Female dogs are not to attend when in heat. All dogs must provide a copy of an up to date vaccination record.
WHAT ENVIRONMENTÂ WILL MY DOG BE IN?
Our Daycare is unique as your dog will have unlimited access to our outside space. We encourage all dogs to toilet outside like they would at home. We are a free roam facility so your dog takes the lead on how they want to spend their day around the structure we provide. We have found this is the least stress for the dogs as they get to choose their play mate or activity based on how they feel each day. There is a constant supply of fresh air circulated around our centre but don't forget we have our cozy quiet room and a log burner if your doggo prefers more of a laid back approach. We want to offer a home from home experience and each dog is treated as an individual to make their experience as enjoyable as possible.

You can drop your dog off anytime from 7.00am -10am
If doing a half day collection is between 12pm-1.00pm

As long as your puppy has had their full vaccination course they can attend our daycare. They will be designated a 1-1 puppy nanny to watch over them throughout the day. Schedule extra naps, monitored play and give them lunch if needed. It is a great way to start your Doggo off building social skills and perfect manners to match, in a safe secure environment.
WILL MY DOG HAVE A PLACE TO REST?

All dogs attending daycare will have a sleep in the quiet room In our main playzones we also have beds, sofas, raised crates and cushions dotted around the centre so theres always a comfy spot for a nap!

This service is at our discretion and is at no extra cost.

We no longer hold a home boarding license so we cannot have your dogs overnight.Â
Our daycare is open Monday-Friday 7am-5.30pm and we can offer a discount for attending 5 consecutive days, so if you have a family member or friend who could look after your doggo evenings and weekends then this could be an option. *Please note that this is only available for our existing Doggos*
